THE MASIH FAMILY

OWNERS OF
MERCY LIFE ORPHANAGE HOME

The Masih family, of the Mercy Life Orphanage Home in Pakistan, has taken on the endeavor of housing over 21 children and two families in order to offer them love, shelter and hope for a brighter future. As a Christian family (Masih is Urdu for 'Christ') -- they experience a difficult dynamic in a muslim dominated society. The two young men photographed, Sahil (far left) and Rauf (far right) run the orphanage and provide for and protect the women and children of the orphanage to the best of their abilities. Due to their Christian identity and name, they have a very difficult time finding work due to the workforce being strict in muslim ideals. However, this family has discovered their calling in the young lives they care for under their roof. The Masih family could use support to fund the lives of the many they care for as well as those who will come in the future. They would also be able to save funds and forward them towards expansion plans for the future. Please click the link below to become a monthly sponsor / support system for the Masih family.

Jesca is working a temporary job with a very low salary to try and make ends meet. Her wish is to one day see her family living a comfortable life with a stable home and good schooling for her child. TEPEYANI

YOUNG MOTHER | TANZANIA

Tepeyani is a young mother and wife with 4 children: 2 girls and 2 boys located in Longido, Tanzania. Her husband does not provide any assistance to make ends meet for their family and unfortunately rarely makes an effort to. Tepeyani carries the bulk of the load when it comes to provision and raising their children. She says it's is due to detrimental cultural conditioning of the Maasai Tribe she comes from where women are positioned to carry the bulk of the household load.

Funds for food, basic necessities, housing rent and school fees are extremely scarce for Tepeyani - so a one time donation or a monthly sponsor would make a significant difference in Tepeyani's life and the life of her family.
